Welcome!

I am an Associate Professor at the University of Leeds. Before that I worked here for a year as a postdoc, and before that I did my PhD at UCL. I am an Associate Editor at Analysis, and I am on the Executive Committee at the Royal Institute of Philosophy. I am also the Director of the Centre for Theoretical Philosophy at Leeds. I work in philosophy of mind, mainly on issues relating to first person thought.

My partner is the wonderful Daniel Morgan, who is also a philosopher, and who works at the University of York.

I'd love to hear from you if you are interested in doing a PhD at Leeds in these areas - please get in touch!
